My Prince has come, and happily ever after it will be!

I just love this family, I first met Courtney and Spencer when she became pregnant with Sophie. We did a series of photos to document her pregnancy. After we finished we moved on to something smaller, but on a larger scale! Sophie!! She was so small! Take a look!

Back in July, Spencer popped the burning question!! Of course she said YES! He had surprised her in New Orleans at Jackson Square! He had a photographer hide out and catch that special moment! Talk about having his ducks in a row and a doing it perfectly!!

So the planning began! Wedding time!!! Me not being a wedding photographer Courtney knew not ask me, but she did ask who did I recomend she book. (wedding photog) She asked a few facebook friends as well ;)

A few weeks ago she asked if we could do a small engagement session for her "Save the Date" cards. Being that we have built a great friendship over the past almost 2 years I had a feeling she wanted me to be apart of this some kind of way. So of course I said YES! Our session was totally laid back and casual, heck even my kids were "babysitters" (no worries they were supervised by us)

Before Sophie was being entertained we managed to get some amazing family shots, keep in mind she JUST turned 10 months old.

Then Mom and Dad time!

Thank you Spencer and Courtney for letting me be apart of this amazing journey life!

Say hey to the adorable Casidy Ellanor.
I first met her around this time last year!

We did the whole Mardi Gras theme with her...

ADORBS RIGHT??

Well...

I got to see her again!

One thing is for sure, She is a very happy baby!

Once our session was coming to an end her mom showed me her blanket that she wanted some photos with.
Then Casidy did the rest!

Purple Pigs Anyone???

Say hey to Kaitlynn Ann Marie, she is a 2015 Senior of Charter Public School. Last weekend we
canceled her session due to thunderstorms! Then low and behold this past weekend more rain but
less thunderstorms! We hit up a dry location first and added some smoke, you know something different! And turned pigs
purple! (insider)

Then we moved into the wet conditions! Thank goodness for our Louisiana weather so it was not freezing! A big thank you to her awesome boyfriend (one of my Seniors from last year) stopped by the Dollar Store and bought not ONE but TWO props errr UMBRELLAS! Between him and her awesome friend that tagged along, I stayed dry! (well my camera stayed dry) I on the other hand??? But the clients who know me!!! Knows I am NOT afraid to get dirty!!

Congrats on your accomplishment! **HIGH FIVE**

(no pigs were harmed in the producing or post processing of this session)

Guillory Family

Back in November a potential client contacted me about a family session. As she explained to me what she wanted and how she wanted it captured I knew it would be like none other I have ever shot before. I sent her all of my information and she then promptly paid her booking fee. As we talked over the next few days and weeks I learned she and her family live in Canada and will be visiting her parents house in Louisiana during Christmas.

What made this session so special is that her parents are thinking of selling her childhood home and this year may be the last Christmas in the home.

The day before we touched base and confirmed on a time and location.

Then the fun began. RAIN, FOG, MUD, AND WARM WEATHER!
You know your normal winter Louisiana weather!

I walked into their home and the smell of Gumbo had the whole house smelling great! The fridge was covered in photos of grandbabies, friends and family! Kid's toys scattered on the area rug in the living room and a little one at the table coloring on a "vintage" place mat that was more than likely her mom's or uncle's. This was a home that has so many memories that will last a lifetime and a half!

After everyone knew my name and everyone told me their name. We got started... So take a look at a few of my faves and some that touched my heart.

Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your life!

I hope this is the first of many blogs for me! I really enjoyed writing it. It only took me around 6 hours :(
